Being a Girl Matters
A Girl's Day is a not-for-profit organization which assists girls reach a self-esteem which leads to motivation, achievement, and ultimately, success. We conduct workshops, camps, weekends and virtual meetings to bring girls together.
We address their real issues with authentic answers, enhance self-esteem, create fellowship among other girls, improve self-worth, and inspire achievement — serving as a resource to further her growth and development.

Meet Our Founder
Dr. Onedia N. Gage, Ph.D., CLC
Founder, A Girl's Day
Dr. Onedia N. Gage, Ph.D., CLC, is a business development strategist, certified life coach, and prolific author whose work has reached women, families, and young people across the country. As a sought-after speaker and coach, Gage challenges executives and entrepreneurs to elevate their standards, have the tough conversations, and make the tough decisions that lead to lasting change and authentic success.
Gage has spent many years inspiring young people through candid, transparent dialogue, encouraging them to invest in their futures, embrace lifelong learning, and finish what they start, no matter the obstacles.

A prolific author, Gage has written more than 130 books spanning business, women's empowerment, faith, self-esteem, and children's literature. Her flagship titles include The Millionaire Mindset for Women: A Professional Woman's Guide to Midlife Reinvention, Wealth, and Legacy; Queen in the Making: A 30-Week Bible Study for Teen Girls; There's a Queen Within: Her Journey to Building Self-Worth; and I Am.: 90 Days of Powerful Words, Affirmations and Advice for Girls. She continues to write across multiple genres, including a growing library of children's books.
Gage is the founder of A Girl's Day and the Mother Daughter Communication Retreat, two initiatives created to build girls' self-esteem and strengthen family communication. Her volunteerism with the Houston Area Urban League's NULITES led to her election as one of the organization's youngest board members. She is a member of the National Council of Negro Women, Toastmasters International, and Top Ladies of Distinction, and has also served on the boards of the YMCA-Northeast Houston and Spaulding for Children.
A native Houstonian and mother of two, Jordan and Nehemiah, Gage believes her time is best spent when young people benefit from her experience.
